Users Who Friend The Community Will Get Exclusive Information Straight From The Creators Of DCUO
AUSTIN, Texas — July 7, 2008 — Attention heroes and villains, it’s time to unite online! Sony Online Entertainment LLC today announced the launch of a customized MySpace community for the upcoming action game DC Universe™ Online, giving fans exclusive access to the artwork and the creative minds behind this exciting new video game currently in development at SOE’s Austin studio.
By signing up to http://myspace.com/dcuo, players can access features about DC Universe Online they’ll find nowhere else, including weekly blog postings and updates from renowned comic artist and Executive Creative Director Jim Lee, behind-the-scenes videos, pictures, concept art, discussions with the development team and video blogs providing friends with a first-hand look at the making of the game. In addition, fans will periodically receive invites to exclusive parties around the globe where “friends” of DCUO can meet each other and the development team.
DCUO brings physics-based action and combat in an online setting to the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the PC. DCUO leverages the vast DC Universe in a persistent world where players can join iconic heroes and villains like Superman, Batman and The Joker as they fight to save or rule the world.
