Some things are a perfect fit during the holiday season. Hot chocolate and marshmallows; festive lights and dark nights; and great food, friends, and family. And let’s not forget another perfect pairing: MMOs and seasonal celebrations. Daybreak Games’ great multiplayer titles are celebrating the winter holidays with special limited-time events.
Check out what’s happening across Daybreak’s roster of MMOs from now through early 2025.
Larfleeze of the Orange Lantern Corps is back and has ZERO regards to your gift-giving celebration. Overcome by greed, he’s even snatched gifts right out of your own League members’ hands! Stop his evil schemes with a series of limited-time missions that will reward you with seasonal currency which can be exchanged for this year’s winter-exclusive cosmetics and base decorations! Special sales will be released throughout the rest of the year, so be sure to check in daily and see what’s new!
The Festivult season is upon us! What is Festivult you ask? The Festival of the Twelfth Moon, or "Festivult" as it's fondly referred to, is an annual holiday celebration in DDO! The Jester of the Festivult is a disguised "friend of the Coin Lords." Nobody knows the true name of this fellow, but he can easily be identified by his colorful garb and dwarven stature. He exchanges festival coins for gifts crafted specially for the season from House Ghallanda and House Cannith! Bring your festival coins to the Jester of the Festivult and he will give you a random gift from his festival bag of holding!
Merry Frostfell! Santug Claugg, Ginjleg, Ganjleg, and Belumb have all returned! Help them keep Grinnuch at bay as you assist in the search for the missing toymakers! On December 24 just after midnight, go get your gifts from Santug. The final stage of Frostfell is all about the holiday party! Santug, Hargar, Fabdabus, and others move on to help ring in the new year with you and your fellow revelers. Keep your eyes on the sky as there will be fireworks going off near Fabdabus! You can join in on the cheer and celebration in your local hometown.
Grab a bucket of snowballs and prepare for battle! Frostfell is back on Live and TLE servers! With Gigglegibbers and Frostfell elves scampering about to spread holiday cheer, every denizen from Faydwer, Kunark, Karan, and beyond are encouraged to take a moment to revel in the spirit of the season by visiting the heart of the celebration in Frostfell Wonderland Village. You may also want to start up a playful snowball fight because the buckets have been filled once again! And, of course, all the jolly mischief, quests, collections, achievements, and everything from previous Frostfell events will be yours to enjoy.
Winter-home and other locations offer dozens of quests which have you help Middle-earth celebrate the season! This is a celebration of eating, drinking, and being merry – but it's also the time for mischief! You'll collect firewood, gather supplies, restock ale, build snow-creatures, take part in a theatre production and more! You can even challenge friends to a snowball fight!
After taking a detour from the traditional Magic Online Vintage Cube with the nostalgia-driven Vintage Cube LIVE Prize Cube and the No Holds Barred Vintage Cube, we return to the winter installment with some catching up to do! As some of you might have noticed, the last two Vintage Cubes offered on Magic Online had Cube lists, but not the usual changelists with card comments. This was because we considered those to be specialty Vintage Cube experiences outside the canonical updates to the core Magic Online Vintage Cube experience.
Enjoy the holiday festivities with the sights and sounds of Auraximas in Sanctuary. New events, items, and more will be available throughout December. Snowmen have been spotted on the roads, take them out to complete missions for some sweet prizes including the new Glitch Banner and Horn!
Wishing you and yours a healthy holiday and a prosperous 2025.
